It might not be an unfamiliar story to you when I tell you a release date has been put back. I can remember how the release-date for the Jack-White-produced-single was pushed upfront a couple of weeks almost every fourteen days. Now it is that re-release of Laura’s second album, I Speak Because I Can, by Diverse Records on 180g vinyl. The initial release date was mid December 2010, then early February and now we are facing a late March release. I know the constant postponing of these two releases don’t share the same cause but it is starting to get a tad annoying. But, my complaints are not that serious! I can’t wait to give this baby, pressed on 180g vinyl, a spin.

On a further note, Laura has told Ireland and Aberdeen fans that the shows that were postponed earlier on, are to be rescheduled in the foreseeable future. With that, she wrote that these shows, which will take place around May, will probably have new songs on the set-list.
March 16 edit: Laura Marling’s management announced Laura will feature on the poster of the Cambridge Folk Festival. LM will take the stage on July 31, the final day of the 4-day event.
