Here is a little intro to the members of Laura’s current live band. This, again, might not be complete of perfect. A nice picture of Graham and one of Marcus are wanted too.
Graham Brown
Graham, or Grazzly, fills-in the spot of double bass-player live. Graham has been touring with Allesi’s Ark and runs the Communion label night in Belfast. He also played a big role as a booking agent for a big festival in the same city. [1]
Marcus Hamblett
Marcus has been moving around a lot in the London folk scene. Being member of Sons of Noel and Adrian and recoding or playing live with Peggy Sue and The Leisure Society for example. He now supports Laura Marling on tour by supplying banjo, bass, trumpet and a whole lot of other instruments during Laura her shows.
Matt Ingram
Before Matt Ingram met Laura Marling, he played drums with a number of artists including: Nerina Pallot and Paloma Faith. He now provides drums and backing vocals in Laura’s set during her tours. Matt will probably be credited for supplying drums on Laura’s third album. [2]
Pete Roe
Pete Roe has been linked with Laura for a long time now. Pete was credited for providing piano and banjo on Alas I Cannot Swim. [I Speak] He is also a solid part in the band Laura takes on tour. Live, Pete supplies piano and organ as well as backing vocals. He gave out some EP’s and an album, named “Let It Go”, as a solo-artist too. Roe was Born in Bristol and moved to London before joining Laura’s band.
Ruth de Turberville
Ruth de Turberville was credited for providing cello on I Speak Because I Can. She fills the role as a violoncellist on tour. Ruth is an old friend of Laura and they attended the same school. They have been touring a lot together and Ruth has also been playing with Nathaniel Rateliff and has provided cello on a track by Ellie Goulding. [3]

some of the band members have changed, what is the lovely, base playing ginger called?
Went to the albert hall to see laura and she said that this was one of the last gigs with her and a band. So it won’t be just the new album without a backing band. But after the festival season she won’t play live ever again with one either.
